Lincoln School
Plans are underway to develop the site of Lincoln School located in the Rattlesnake area. The site is about 1.8 acres in size, and the proposal is to sub-divide this location into 13 lots for building 12 new homes and converting the school into a condo.

Pineview Park SID
On January 24, 2007, Missoula's City Council approved a SID (Special Improvement District) tax which will raise $750,000 over 20 years by collecting an annual tax of $35 (per parcel) to rebuild and maintain 4.5 acres known as Pineview Park in the Rattlesnake area.

Western Bypass - The city council will soon decide if they will fund research for finding the best method to divert traffic in Missoula. Some ideas involve a double-decker highway system on Reserve street, or a highway that bypasses Missoula altogether by connecting highway 93 and interstate 90. (updated Monday, February 26, 2007)
